What the certification attests
A certified surgeon completed the official training at the creator's academy: they learned the standardized protocol — ultrasound-guided monocortical fractures, with no bone removal and no external incisions — as described and validated in the published studies, including handling of the specific instrument and patient selection.
Why certification is part of safety
It is not a commercial formality: the technique's safety studies exclude surgeons not trained in a standardized course with certification. The documented safety profile corresponds to the standardized protocol — learning the technique outside its standardization changes the procedure and its risk.
How to verify a certified surgeon
Two public ways:
1 · The official directory. The directory of certified surgeons on ribxcar.org lists those who completed the training, with their clinic, country and certification. Only surgeons with verified training and registered consent are listed.
2 · The verifiable digital seal. Certified surgeons install a certification seal on their website with an online verification link signed by the academy. It is not a static image: verification happens in real time, and if a certification is no longer current, the seal itself says so.
For surgeons: how to obtain it
Certification is obtained by completing the official rib remodeling course at AX Scientific Lab. See also why train with the creator of the technique. Contact and enrollment are handled through the academy.
This page is informational. Training is intended for qualified plastic surgeons; choosing a surgeon is a personal decision that deserves verification.
